In a culture where men are encouraged to be selfish instead of sacrificial, cowardly instead of courageous, and shallow instead of substantive, we recognize that God has called Christian men to something so much more. Namely, leaders who are compelling enough to follow.[1] Our men’s leadership training is designed to equip and encourage men to fulfill this high and holy calling upon their lives. We are convinced that the health and maturity of any ministry is largely shaped by the health and maturity of the men. In other words, the church goes as the men go! 

 God calls men to have spiritual influence over all those in their lives. This influence can be reduced down to two concepts: Living a life compelling enough to follow, and communicating a message compelling enough to hear.[2] Our men’s ministry is designed to produce this kind of influence in the lives of our men. The desire is that this ministry, through the Word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, will produce faithful men who are serious about being conformed into the image of Christ, and serious about fulfilling the various aspects of leadership God has entrusted to them. 

 These studies compel our men to think deeply about truth, exercise discernment, strengthen each other’s faith, build unshakeable convictions, serve the church more faithfully, and love Christ with greater humility.  Together we explore a wide range of subjects, including: godly character, discipleship, philosophy of ministry, hermeneutics, evangelism, life within the body of Christ, Christian doctrine, contemporary issues in evangelicalism, and biblical leadership in both the family and the church. 

 This group is available for all men of the church, ages 12 and up.
